Pet Purpose: Your Unspoken Voice - Emotional

Created in New Zealand. Printed in the USA. I was in a mood crash with bipolar 1 disorder with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and had just quit one of my jobs as too overwhelmed. I opened the parcel on camera (while a mess). This is what I saw: Snowball peeking out of the box!

I usually have intense emotions shutdown with my presentation of PTSD. I was in the combination of a shutdown (hence the blanket as felt cold), plus a mood crash. It was very emotional seeing my 7 years of effort for the first time. Readers in at least 7 countries had already purchased Pet Purpose: Your Unspoken Voice before I received my first copies for friends in New Zealand.

The first print copy of Pet Purpose was purchased by a reader in Washington, USA.

The quality of the novels turned out better than I expected, using the KDP print-on-demand service with Amazon - an option that makes self-publishing possible for indie authors like myself. The artwork turned out vibrant (I had brightened it as much as I could and chose the gloss which is supposed to make the colour 'pop' more). Print on pages and thickness of paper looked as good as books traditionally printed books.

The writing, editing, cover art, cover design, formatting, conversion was all done by myself. A friend proof-read the final draft and friends read drafts along the journey.

Pet Purpose is available from amazon

The softcover is available from Amazon US, Canada, UK. E-book available in most places, including Australia. If you don't have a Kindle, there is an app when purchase to convert to read on any device.
